Sheri Barnes is an expert in pain management with over 20 years experience in reducing or eliminating pain. Her pain management skills are a result of acupuncture and massage therapy training combined with over 20 years as an Occupational Therapist. She has very effective treatments for pain management and has helped many who have exhausted other traditional therapies and surgeries.

Injuries Covered by Workers's Compensation Insurance

Many pain management patients suffer from on the job injuries. Injuries include carpal tunnel syndrome, slips/falls, crush injuries, repetitive strain injuries and overuse injuries just to name a few. These injuries are covered under workers' compensation insurance. We accept all forms of workmans' compensation insurance such as IWIF, federal government, state government, private insurance, etc.

Sheri's approach to pain is "Combination Therapy". She employs Massage Therapy, Acupuncture & Occupational Therapy in the course of her treatments. This combination therapy can be very effective and was recently written about in Today in OT Magazine. Sheri is one of only four OT/Acupuncturists in the United States.

Sheri has a Masters Degree in Acupuncture, she is a Licensed and Registered Occupational Therapist, and is also trained as a Professional Practitioner of Massage. Sheri is a graduate of The TAI Sophia Institute, The Baltimore School of Massage, and Towson University.
